Hi, i went into hospital over night for a kidney infection 2 nights ago. i am on my third day of antibiotics and the pain has come back and is concentrated on my left flank and abdomen. dolorol prescribed by the er doctor isnt working.

Go see a MD: The bacteria can be resistant to certain antibiotics which then can be ineffective. Go back to the MD and have them run a urine culture and sensitivity lab test to see whether the present antibiotic is effective and if not, which one will work from the test results.
