Minimum 14 days: People with Covid are contagious starting 24-48 hours before they develop symptoms and can be contagious up to 14 days after developing symptoms. The CDC recommends that a person with Covid stay in self-isolation for 14 days minimum. If symptoms worsen or new ones arise (fever, cough, shortness of breath) then the person should stay isolated longer.

10 days: You are considered contagious till 10 days(not 14 days)after you became ill, & you have no fever for 72 hours and your other symptoms are improving. That is called isolation.Quarantine is different:that is for someone who was exposed to someone with Covid-19;they need to quarantine(stay separate from others in their home and stay home other than for medical attention);they may become contagious.
