Burning pain : One of the causes for pain in the foot or specifically in 1 part of the foot can be a pinched nerve in the lumbar spine. If you have had difficulty with a disc that is herniated and pushing on the nerve root it can cause this type of sensation in your great toe. You Should follow up with your doctor to see if further imaging is needed.
