As a teen, can i start using a retinol serum for deeper/ice pick acne scars and not purge? i'm less concerned about active breakouts and more about the scars but i still don't want to break out. also, would i have to stop using my niacinamide?

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. You may have unreasonable expectation of retinol. Why are you taking nicainamide? It would be prudent to see a doctor. Get HPV vaccine. Wish you good health!
