Infected steps: Sorry to hear about your infection. But at least tell us what you think it might be or where you are infected. Toe ? Finger? Penis? Belly? Throat? Brain? Or what?

Identify infection: Once an infection is identified then, it can be studied by growing colonies of organisms while trying different agents (antibiotics, antifungals, antivirals). The next step after knowing YOU'RE infected is to decide the importance of CONTACT TRACING in order to help look out for others.

Depends on test: If your results are from a PCR (molecular) test for SAR-Cov2, you should self quarantine for 7-10 days if you have no symptoms. If you develop mild symptoms, treat with usual meds for common cold. If you cannot count past 5 (short of breath), go to hospital or urgent care. If other tests are involved, see other answers.

Agree with Dr. G: What is infected and with what organism. The doctor who ordered the culture should be advising you about the implications and treatment. Have a healthy diet, exercise 30 minutes/day, drink plenty of water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. For nutrition: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/. Get HPV vaccine. Wish you good health!
