Gastroenteritis: For now, treat her symptoms. A borderline fever and diarrhea can indicate that she has a viral intestinal infection. Treat the fever with acetaminophen and the diarrhea by increasing her fluid/electrolyte intake and limiting what she eats to bananas, rice, apples and toast/crackers. If the fever rises over 102, the diarrhea continues more than 5 days, or if she shows signs of dehydration see a Dr.
