Typical add on: Onglyza or saxagliptin is a typical add on drug, many times added to metformin, diet and exercise in order to control diabetes. Anxiety is not a typical side effect described to it, hypoglycemia or low sugar and/or headaches being among most common side effects. Talk to your treating doc about your symptoms and blood glucose readings.
