Slow improvement: In most mild cases, the Covid positive patient feels an improvement of the symptoms from day 5-10. If your symptoms are worsening, keep an eye out for difficulty breathing, persistent chest pain/pressure or low Oxygen levels as these can indicate that the infection has moved to your lungs.

Variable course: Usually by day 7, there is improvement. There are some patients who do worsen though later in the course. Continue to rest, drink fluids, have a flu vaccine and monitor for changes. If these occur, please speak to your physician.
