Yes: Yes, one of the side effects of escitalopram is lowered heart rate and blood pressure. This can be problematic for some persons as they may experience weakness, dizziness and presyncopal episodes. Talk to your prescribing Dr about the dose of your medication and be careful to sit up slowly and stand while holding on to something until you are sure you are not dizzy.
