Covid-19: These symptoms sound like you may have Covid-19 (Fever, sore throat, body aches). Use Acetaminophen for pain and fever, drink lots of warm or cool soothing fluids, rest, and self isolate from others so that you don't spread the virus. See a Dr for trouble breathing, persistent chest pain, new confusion. A test may confirm the diagnosis, but treatment won't change.

Swollen glands: If you have swollen glands, white patches on your tonsils with fever, you may have a Strep infection and a swab for testing may be sent by your provider. If you have influenza and are early in the course, Tamiflu may be indicated. For most viral illnesses, soothing fluids, rest and gargling with an antiseptic mouth wash may provide relief. Watch for signs of worsening cough, respiratory symptoms.
