I have been taking indomethacin for 2 day for a gout flair up that started 4 days ago. only very slight improvemnt. what do i do now to get swelling and pain to stop. no sleep for 3 nights?

Acute Gout: You should be taking 50mg Indocin 3 times daily. Give it another day and if no improvement you see a doctor for different treatment.

Acute gout: Indomethacin in the proper dose usually is quite effective for treatment of an acute gout attack. When it's not I've prescribed colchicine or corticosteroids orally. Discuss this with your physician.
