TMJ: The only way TMJ can affect the eyes is by extension of muscular tension to the periorbital musculature. Vision shouldn't be significantly affected although tight muscles and pressure around the eyes will cause some sensations of a visual nature.

See TMJ Specialist: Treatment without proper Diagnosis is not advisable. Consult a TMJ Specialist , he might ask for Tomogram of TMJ or TMJ Scan for proper diagnosis .Ask your Dentist in the mean time to prescribe you some pain medication .
