I got the nexplanon in may and i couldnt see it at first i could just feel it when i pressed on it now its super close to the surface of the skin.could it have been inserted too close to the skin and will it cause it to be less effective?

Nexplanon insert ?'s: Nexplanon will be effective if the incision is healed. Your periods may be affected and become irregular, and/or longer times between menstrual events may occur.
