Im 33+weeks pregnant and due on 18 january 2021. my dr just informed me today that he will be closing his practice and will see me on the 12 january 2021. is it safe to spend 6 weeks without seeing the doctor in your third trimester?

Transfer care: If your Dr is closing his practice, you should immediately look for a replacement. Any gap in care during a pregnancy can cause missed problems, missed abnormalities in growth and health of both the baby and you. Ask your Dr for references or look up dr finding resources at your insurance website.
