Stye: Styes are caused by blockages of the glands at the edge of the eyelid. You can use special eye wipes available at the pharmacy without prescription to gently wipe and massage this area, allowing for the blockage to release and the normal infection not to occur. Do this wipe/massage every few hours. Talk to a Dr if the blocked gland does not reduce and becomes infected, red, swollen.

Warm compresses: Use warm compresses (tap water) to the closed eyelid for ten minutes three times a day. If it gets worse or persist, see an MD
