I saw a gp on tuesday week before last and he gave me purbac double strength,aspen cetrizine and mylan diclofenac.the sounds stopped during my medication intake but came back after completion of the course. drs what should i do now.?

It depends: Your physician gave you an antibiotic, an antihistamine, and an anti-inflammatory for serous otitis (fluid in the middle ear) from infection, allergies, or virus. If you have pain or fever then you may have an infection that requires a different antibiotic. Otherwise just an antihistamine or NSAID alone (both are available over the counter) or together will help until it resolves in a few weeks.
