A member asked:

If i have "benign atrial ectopic beats" every third or fourth beat and they last for a couple of hours could this cause blood clots like atrial fibrillation can?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No risk: Benign atrial ectopic beats as the name suggests are benign, unlike atrial fibrillation they do not affect the hemodynamics of blood flow in the heart and hence do not increase the risk for clots.
