Can betadine be used to clean piles before applying cream for piles?

It will stain: You can use Betadine topically but must wipe it off because it is red yellow colored and will stain underwear. It is a good disinfectant but their are better choices . I would suggest a perianal wipe if you need to remove BM particles. Check the baby wipe aisle in the store. Then apply the cream as directed.
