My son age 66 days, has chd due to that spo2 fall 45,& doctors observed convulsion once and prescribed 3 ml syr gardenal. we cont. syr on daly basis till date, & no convulsions till 2day plz tell me upto how many days this medicine is safe for baby?

Infantile seizures: Infantile seizures are a serious problem and must be taken seriously. Phenobarbital is taken daily until the therapeutic blood level is reached and then continued to maintain that blood level. The Dr may make small changes to the dosage and may even change or add medications to control the seizures. Talk to your Dr for any changes or questions.
