Spotting on bcp's ?: The most common cause of spotting on today's low dose oral bcp's is a failure to take the active pills punctually (within the hour of taking the previous active pill). If spotting continues, even after very punctual use of the active bcp's, ask your gyn physician to try a different low dose oral bcp. Your physician may also do more testing, as there are other causes for spotting.
