Irregular bleeding: Irregular bleeding can be caused by many things, some serious/some not: stress, weight gain/loss, hormonal disruption, uterine fibroids/ endometriosis/ adenomyosis, ovarian problems, a tumor, or miscarriage. If the irregular period/bleeding lasts longer than 2 months, you should see your Dr for a thorough evaluation. Oral contraceptive pills may be prescribed to regulate your periods.
