See your Dr.: Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a common disorder that affects the large intestine. Signs and symptoms include cramping, abdominal pain, bloating, gas, and diarrhea or constipation, or both. Cause is unknown, but triggers include food allergies/intolerance and stress. A Dr can do a complete physical exam and testing to rule out other causes. There is no definitive test for IBS

Clinical evaluation: You will need a comprehensive physical exam including blood and urine testing.I suggest a consultation with a gastroenterologist.
