Call your doctor...: The best way to get a note excusing you from work would be from your own doctor, who knows your situation best. You can request a live consult from one of the HealthTap doctors and get an evaluation. The live consults are on the paid service so getting a note from your doctor is the easiest way to get a work excuse. Best of luck to you!!

Work notes: Have to be secured the day you are missing work and ideally by your primary care doc based on a exam or at least detailed interview otherwise they will not be credible from a legal standpoint even if you are able to obtain one. Many work places have at least a nurse that can give you instructions, but the idea is that such notes cannot be obtained retroactively.
