is it better to swallow or chew vitamin b12 tablets to maximize absorption?

Chew: Chewing it might expose more surface area of the B12 vitamin to the intrinsic factor in the stomach that carries the vitamin to the terminal ileum where it gets absorbed.

It does not matter: I would say that there is no reason to chew the tablet, but either way absorption should not be affected either way.
