Can a uti cause a low grade fever (highest is 99.7) only at night? i was diagnosed a few days ago and have noticed my face gets hot at night due to the low grade fever?

Yes it can: Anytime you have an infection, you can run a fever. It isn't the worst thing in the world to have, as infection fighting cells work better at slightly elevated body temperature. Drink lots of fluids, make sure if you were given medication that you finish it all.
