Hello, i just found out i am pregnant and have been using otravine sinusitis spray for 5 day and i am very worried now about my pregnancy. would this have damaged the embryos or there is high risk of a defect to the baby? many thanks, alexandra?

Not to worry: A nasal spray is designed to place medicine locally and topically. Minuscule amounts may have entered your body, but not enough to have had ANY effect on a developing embryo. From now on, just use saline nasal rinse/spray to clear congestion.

Probably ok: This nasal spray constricts blood vessels to open the nasal/sinus passages for easier breathing. If used as directed it should be unlikely to affect a developing baby. It is really designed to be used only for 2-3 days at a time however.
