Prostate disease ?'s: The prostate is examined microscopically by taking multiple needle biopsy specimens and looking for cytologic abnormalities under the microscope. Another common screening test is a serum PSA test, which can predict changes in cellular anatomy of the prostate.

Sort of: The abnormal cells from Prostate gland often do not make it into the urine. For example is not practical to detect prostate cancer by urine examination. Wish you good health!
