A member asked:

9 months ago i was prescribed 2% fucidin ointment to use inside my nose for a boil. i stopped using it because i noticed spider veins and discoloration on my nose. the skin hasn't improved since and is bruising easily, what should i do?

Rosacea: I doubt that the fucidin caused the skin condition of your nose. Instead it may be a form of rosacea because of redness, thinning and visible veins on your nose. Sunlight, wind, Spicey foods and alcohol can play a role in the development of rosacea. A dermatologist can evaluate and advise you about your nasal appearance.
