Possibly: I often tell patients that pain is like the red "warning light" in your car when you start the engine. If it goes on, it may be nothing, but it may be something, so best to take it to the mechanic. Pain is often that "warning light" for our body. It shouldn't hurt to urinate, so if it does I would see your Dr and get a simple urinalysis to rule out infection.
