Heart rate variation: Your heart rate is controlled by the autonomic nervous system, and varies depending on hydration, exercise, heat, dilated blood vessels (such as in a warm bath). Blood pressure is typically a bit lower in pregnancy, related to redistribution of body fluids. Maintain good hydration (drink 6-8 cups water /day). Review with your OB at your next visit.
