My 5 year old has problem. whenever it gets really hot, her nose bleeds.. she bleeds at school, when shes playing outside and at night.. is there anything i can do besides keeping her hydrated and stopping her picking or rubbing her nose?

Pressure locally: Firm but not excessive pressure at the bridge of the nose may help to stop the bleeding. If bleeding lasts more than 5 minutes, please see urgent care or your PCP. A bleeding time and other tests may be indicated. Avoid Motrin and discourage her from touching her nose. Gentle saline drops and wiping may relieve the inflammation inside the nasal passages.
