What can i do about the extreme back pain i've had for approx. 10 years?

Get it checked: If it has been present 10 years and not caused serious consequences, likely nothing serious. If medical science unable to identify a cause, understand that pain is not visible to xray/mri just as electricity is not visible to see. Try pilates/piyo/yoga, nsaid's, ice/heat, salonpas hot patches. Consider pt mckenzie exercises. See a different specialist: endocrine for your parathyroid. Don't give up.

Causes: There are multiple causes of back pain: arthritis, cardiac pain, sciatica, herniated disk, shingles, kidney stones among many other. See physician for evaluation.
