I have started hearing a water dripping sound in my left part of the chest. it is clearly loud enough to be audible to a person sitting next to you. it occurs every 5 seconds, and is audible when i am either sitting on a chair or laying in my bed?

Need to examine: What you described may be due to breathing affecting the air fluid level in your stomach rather than anything in the chest.
