A member asked:

Hi dr,i am 16 years old and 5'7" and 67 kg ,my father is 6' 0 and my mother is 5'3".can i still grow to his height ? i recently gained 2 inches so is there still hope for me?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: The predicted final height from the parental heights mentioned is 5'10" +/-. Most males continue to grow until 17-18 but some stop sooner or continue. An x-ray of your wrist/hand could be assessed for bone maturity & growth potential. If growth centers there are open you will grow taller.
