A member asked:

Is there such thing as minor testicular torsion, that goes away on its own/does not require surgery? if so how long does it typically take to heal?

Reduction: Some torsions (twisting) can "un-twist" themselves after a few seconds. Torsions are incredibly painful, & resolution of pain can mean the problem has temporarily resolved. However, torsions don't happen in a vacuum - "bell-clapper" deformities & other fixable problems lead to recurrent, permanent torsion. See a Urologist to evaluate. Even deformities that predispose you to torsion should be fixed
