A member asked:

I have hashimotos and am at risk for autoimmune gastritis. if i get it, does autoimmune gastritis always turn into stomach cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily: God forbid you develop atrophic/autoimmune gastritis, the stomach can be examined periodically by endoscopy so that in case you develop any lesions those could be addressed in-time and at an early stage. Wish you good health!
