A member asked:

Had a ct scan of right wrist got results saying i have negative ulnar variance, havent been able to talk to my doctor yet, but what exactly is this and how is it normally treated?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Short ulna : The two bones of the wrist are the ulna and radius. Negative ulnar variance means the ulna is shorter than the normal range in relation To the radius . Treatment depends on degree of variance but can start with brace , injection and therapy. Sometimes surgery needed.
