Usually in-person Dr.: Adderall is a controlled substance, so patients on it usually have to see their primary care doctors, psychiatrists, or neurologists in person. A patient can ask his or her doctor's office who might be helping take care of the patients now that the doctor is in hospice. An urgent care clinic may or may not be able to give a temporary or partial refill in the meanwhile.
