I had lateral atfl ligament ankle reconstruction in march 2020. i am having new pain on the outer side of heel when i bring my foot in and up. it is a new pain i never had and was wondering what it might be? i did start running but stopped recently?

Anatomy changed: When surgery is performed to reconstruct an area that has been injured a lot of times it could change the bio mechanics of your foot and ankle. How it functions. I would recommend seeing a podiatrist and/or a physical therapist knowledgeable in biomechanics. This will allow evaluation of the new anatomy . This could be a temporary symptom or a more permanent symptom
