How to get out of the habit of holding your breath when breathing. i do this a lot when talking/singing and im pretty sure its causing a lot of throat tightness and pain. thank you?

VCD: One possible cause of throat tightness is vocal cord dysfunction, and having a pulmonary function test and imaging may provide more information. Behavioral and speech therapy may be helpful and your PCP can provide a referral in modifying your breath holding.
