GP: Given the tenuous natural history of acne and the significant side effects of contraceptives, tight follow up will be needed and a clear discussion of risks, benefits and alternatives should take place with your prescriber. Would not recommend the pick and choose approach, but rather a responsible approach guided by your doc.
