TLC: Popping a pimple damages the surrounding skin. Apply warm compresses to get all the pus out, don't scrub it, don't pick at it, let it be. Do apply an anti-bacterial ointment or cream. Avoid direct sunlight or you will pigment the area.

Infection: This sounds like an infected hair follicle. Some of the reactive proteins in your skin are causing the symptoms. "popping" pimples is not a good idea since it can spread an infection. See your physician.

Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex, if you have sex. Get HPV vaccine, if you are under 27 years of age.
