No: Parasitic infections have to be demonstrated before being treated by either blood, stool or urine samples in order to have them treated timely and correctly. Otherwise they can cause many nonspecific symptoms that can be easily confounded with a variety of other medical conditions.

I tested positive in blood to Strongyloides. Is there a high likelihood that this is cross-reactive to other parasitic infections, &if so, which? I was treated with 2 doses of ivermectin 10-days apart and then 1 dose of albendazole. Was this enough?
