DISCUSS WITH DOCTOR : Always discuss with your physician about over the counter medication. St John's Wort affects serotonin as does Paxil and Buspar. I do not know how much the topical application will do with increase levels . What is the topical for exactly? Ginkgo has some blood thinning qualities as does certain antidepressants so I would again suggest that you consult the doctor that is giving you the medications
