Achilles tendinitis : This is the area wear the Achilles’ tendon is attached. If you did not bruise the area tendinitis is then considered. Wearing high heeled shoes on regular basis can shorten the muscle/tendon. Stretching the muscle properly may help. heel lifts to both shoes may help take tension off the tendon. Icing and anti-inflammatory medication( ibuprofen or Aleve can help.
