Can my wife donate plasma even tho she had a baby 4 months ago??

Should be able: As long as there were no complications with the birth or postpartum time frames, plasma donation shouldn't be a problem. I also wouldn't advise it if she is breastfeeding- she needs all her spare energy to produce optimal milk. Make sure plenty of fluids before and after donation to prevent fainting from low blood volume.

Should be fine: The FDA recommends avoiding donation of blood products (plasma is a blood product) during pregnancy and for up to 6 weeks after delivery. Donating plasma after 4 months is often considered acceptable, although it’s best to check with each blood donation center in advance because different centers have different rules.
