Not Wilsons: Wilson's disease is an abnormal accumulation of copper in the body, the opposite of copper deficiency. There are a number of causes of copper deficiency, but most have to do with a reduction in the absorption of copper in the gut from foods that have copper content, such as malabsorption syndrome. Problem falls within the specialties of neurology, gastroenterology, hematology or good internist.
