A member asked:

I took a micronutrient test, and it says i have high levels of zinc (1.41 ug/ml), copper (2 ug/ml), and selenium (152.93 ng/ml). also vitamin d deficiency (14.2 ng/ml). what can be the cause for this and how can i lower my levels?

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, take 5000 units vitamin D3/day for 3 months. Do not take any other supplements that may be causing high levels of other things. No need to lower these. Wish you good health!
