A member asked:

Hi, is it possible that allergic asthma transforms into chronic asthma? thanks?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Asthma is asthma: Asthma is a chronic condition with heavy genetic influence. It varies in patients in intensity/triggering factors and day/week/month/year activity. I expect someone with bronchospasm that persists after school age to have true asthma that may flare at any time in life.
