I took steroids for an allergic reaction for 5 days. the reaction went away but there are still some concerns with it flaring up again because i have some hives on my legs. should i take another steroid?

Hives: The cause of hives is at times is elusive. You may have to resume steroids at a high dose but taper off them slowly in order to avoid rebound return of hives. An allergist is best to consult in stubborn cases where you can't identify triggers.
